Celebrating Our Achievement: 100 Partner Schools By 2025

The Kofi A. Tawiah Foundation is excited to celebrate a remarkable milestone of partnering with 100 schools across Ghana by 2025.

This remarkable accomplishment marks a significant milestone in our character education journey, which began in 2019 with just six partner schools in the Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions. Over the past six years, the Foundation has worked diligently to expand its reach and impact, and we celebrate this journey with heartfelt gratitude.

The Kofi A. Tawiah Foundation's character education initiative is designed to instill essential character traits such as respect, responsibility, honesty, punctuality, compassion etc. in students and young people. This empowers them to become responsible citizens and ethical leaders.

Each year, we have expanded the initiative to various regions in Ghana by partnering with dedicated schools that have shown a deep interest and commitment to being part of this journey. As part of the yearly onboarding process, the foundation organised intensive 2- to 3-day seminars for selected teachers and school management members, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to implement an effective school-based character education programme. Additionally, the necessary learning resources needed to ensure that the initiative is effective in the schools were provided to them. A key component of the initiative involves routine school visits to monitor progress and assess the programme's impact.

Through these partnerships, we have positively impacted over 47,000 students and trained more than 2,000 teachers in our core partner schools across Ghana. Our impact was not limited to our core partner schools. The Foundation also engaged with numerous "satellite schools.

These schools, inspired by the positive impact in our core partner schools, reached out so they could also promote character education within their own schools. This influx of interest from other schools showcases the growing need for character education in schools and other learning institutions in Ghana.

As we celebrate this success, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our core partner schools, satellite schools, teachers, students, volunteers, guests, and everyone who has shared in this vision and worked together with the Foundation. Your contributions and dedication have been valuable in helping us reach this milestone.

Looking ahead, achieving the goal of 100 partner schools is not the end but rather a stepping stone towards even greater impact in the years to come. We remain committed in our mission to develop essential character traits in students and young people, helping them grow not only as learners but also as responsible individuals driven by values.

The Kofi A. Tawiah Foundation is committed to further expanding the Character Education Initiative to reach more schools across Ghana and beyond. By collaborating with key national agencies and organizations, we are determined to enhance the impact of character education and empower even more young people with the values necessary to become responsible citizens and transformative leaders.

Please join us in celebrating this milestone.
