Meet Our Founder

Kofi Abrompa Tawiah, born in 1946 in Ghana, grew up in poverty but prioritized education, leading him to study engineering and pursue a career in the US. He founded E-3 Systems in 1989, an IT infrastructure cabling company. Despite his success, Kofi remained connected to his Ghanaian roots and established a foundation in 2019 to contribute to his country's development. He aimed to see Ghana evolve into a progressive, advanced nation with unity and purpose, but lamented the slow progress even 58 years after independence. Kofi's foundation stands as his legacy, aiming to drive generational transformation and realize his childhood dream for Ghana.

Character First Education and the SDGs

At the heart of our mission lies the conviction that education extends beyond academics. Character education emphasizes the development of ethical values, social responsibility, empathy, and integrity. These qualities closely align with the core principles of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) which advocates for Quality Education. Our character education program being rolled out enriches the educational experience by equipping students with life skills and values, enabling them to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens. By this program of promoting character education in our school, we aim to contribute significantly to the advancement of global educational standards, ensuring that every student receives not only academic knowledge but also the essential tools to thrive in a complex world. As such, the collaboration between educational institutions, communities, and governments is pivotal in advancing CFE. Together, we can build a network committed to fostering character-driven education.

Our Moral Responsibility

As advocates and promoters of Character Education in Ghana, we embrace a moral responsibility to:

Nurture Ethical Leaders: We strive to develop leaders who not only excel academically but also exemplify virtues such as integrity, respect, and compassion, thus inspiring positive change in their communities.

Promote Sustainable Lifestyles CFE encourages responsible consumption, environmental stewardship, and awareness of the impact our choices have on the planet.

Empower Through Knowledge: We equip students with critical thinking skills, enabling them to make informed decisions that align with their values and contribute to a sustainable future.
